“There are some amazing elements in ‘The Three Musketeers’ and I feel like it could have been the best Barbie movie if they had just taken it a little more seriously. The anachronistic soundtrack, cheesy script in parts (like the Barbecue thing), weird cat, and overall stupidity of some of the characters just absolutely brought what could have been a near flawless movie down so much that I could barely get through it. Shame really.”
“I think there needs to be a larger variety of characters e.g different ages, races, and more guys!”
“I relate to Mariposa so much. Her movie was just what I needed for a confidence boost, that I’m beautiful just by being myself.”
“Today I’ve decided to watch some films of Barbie, and I started with ‘The Princess and The Pauper’. That was the moment that I’ve got the conscience that I’m in love with King Dominick.”
“After watching ‘Barbie: A Fairy Secret’, I literally had myself convinced I could make a pair of wings that would let me fly. Truth be told… I still think it’s possible - despite what everyone else says. There’s a moral Barbie movies taught me. Keep trying even when everyone else says it’s impossible.”
“I could probably sit here all day and come up with ideas for Barbie movies. Maybe they should just hire me. ;-)”
“The most beautiful animation in Barbie movie(s) was in ‘Barbie and the Rockers’, and Sharon Lewis will always be Barbie’s voice to me. That said, I prefer the later ’00s - ’10s movies over the early ’00s movies (although I’m not sure where the dividing line really is)! The animation is prettier and the movies are most fast-paced, like in the ‘Barbie and the Rockers’ specials.”
“My favorite types of characters in these movies are the wise ones who can guide other characters, such as the Owl in ‘The Nutcracker’ and Azura from ‘Fairytopia’.”
